Field Internships

Field Interns are needed year-round and provide an opportunity to live in the rainforest and gain hands-on experience and real-world skills in tropical ecosystem conservation and restoration. Short-term Internships are offered for 3-months and Long-term Internships are offered for 9-12 month periods. All interns must be 18 years of age. Fluency in Spanish and English are highly desired. An ideal Field Intern will also have a background in a science field and/or experience with biological field work but passion for learning and a strong work ethic that isn’t scared to get dirty in the field are the only requirements.

The Field Internship positions are competitive.  Having a degree in biology or conservation, previous field experience, staying for a longer period of time, or speaking Spanish are some of the selection criteria that we may consider.
